While Amsterdam is synonymous with rolling tulip fields, you needn’t hop on a plane or an international train ride to behold such beauty in 2024. Just a quick train ride from London Bridge station, you’ll find yourself at Tulley’s Farm in West Sussex, which, this Spring, will debut a 500,000-strong tulip field of dreams.

An ideal day trip from the capital, Tulley’s Tulip Fest is currently due to open in April. While this does depend on how the growth of the crop goes, tickets go on sale as early as February 2 – head to the website for yours.

A tulip field near London

Tulley’s Farm is located between London and Brighton, in Crawley. First and foremost, Tulley’s Tulip Fest will boast a ton of tulips, ranging in colour, shape, and size. In fact, there’ll be over 100 varieties of tulip. With that, a plethora of photo ops come hand in hand: get that ‘gram ready for photos in the field, amongst the flowers, and at dedicated ‘selfie stations‘ dotted around nearby. What’s more, there’ll be Dutch-inspired street food and a Tulip Bar on site, so you can make a full morning or afternoon of your visit.

Flower fields and pick-your-own pumpkin patches have proved popular in recent years – and Tulley’s Farm has both. Following the success of their giant sunflower field last summer, it’ll be making a return for 2024, as will next autumn’s pumpkin patches. The site is also home to a series of escape rooms and Shocktober Fest; the latter has repeatedly won the title of ‘UK’s number 1 Halloween attraction’.
