the walkway past the food vendors at the new food hall coming to St Paul's

Round up your friends and grab your stretchiest trousers, folks – because there’s a new food hall coming to town. Setting up shop a stone’s throw away from one of London’s most legendary landmarks, Market Place St Paul’s is landing slap-bang in the middle of the capital at the end of May. And it’s ready to fill the rumbling tummy’s of Londoners and tourists alike.

This scrumptious new spot in St Paul’s comes courtesy of the Market Place team. With three other mouth-watering venues scattered across the city, Market Place has made quite the name for itself since arriving on London’s food scene back in 2020. Their St Paul’s site will be their biggest yet, spanning almost 7,000 square-feet across two jam-packed floors.

The food at Market Place St Paul’s

Market Place St Paul’s will boast ten world-class tradersserving up an abundance of delicious grub from across the globe. So, whether you’re looking for a quick lunch-break bite or a post-sightseeing snack; there’s sure to be something tasty for your to tuck in to. And there will, of course, be two fully-stocked bars (we are in London, after all) serving up craft beers, classic cocktails and a selection of signature drinks.

Visitors to the shiny new St Paul’s site can expect to find the tasty likes of Free Wheelin Pizza (wood-fired, sourdough deliciousness), OPA (Michelin-starred Greek street food), Thai House (Bangkok-inspired specialties), Hot Scotch (authentic Caribbean dishes), Tikka Nation (an award-winning Indian kitchen), and so much more.

Spread across two floors, Market Place St Paul’s is set to provide the city with the ultimate ‘day-to-night playground’ that it’s been missing. The ground floor will be filled with vibrant food vendors and a neon-lit bar, whilst the basement will boast a more cosy and intimate atmosphere, with comfy seating and a plethora of pool tables. Alongside the food and drink, Market Place St Paul’s will also serve up some killer entertainment in the form of live DJ sets and comedy nights.

Blake HendersonManaging Director of Market Place Food Halls, said: “The City has been crying out for a dining concept that matches its energy. We’re not just opening another food hall, we’re creating an escape from the hustle and bustle of the corporate world where deals get celebrated, teams connect, and everyone from interns to CEOs finds their new food obsession.”

Market Place St Paul’s will open at 150 Cheapside, City of London, EC2V 6ET on May 27. Find out more and plan your visit here.
