Despite a stormy relationship with Michael Ilesanmi, Angela married him in January 2020. She applied for his spousal visa, and in late 2023, Michael finally made it to the United States from Nigeria. The couple had to appear 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 to document their married life after reuniting in the US, but things changed dramatically. Michael ran away from Angelaclaiming that the woman threatened his life.

Since Michael’s disappearance, Angela has taken to social media to express her negative emotional state.


Recently, Angela posted two posts on his Instagram Stories service, indirectly referring to Michael. One of her Instagram stories reads, “A lying man can never handle an honest woman.” It seems that Angela investigated Michael’s dishonesty towards him.

Another one of Angela’s Instagram stories to read, “I found the key to happiness. Stay away from idiots.” This post is more generic, but it’s clear that Angela is hurt by the people she thinks about “idiots” in his life.

Angela has been indirectly referencing Michael on social media by sharing cryptic messages that appear to mock him. When Michael first disappeared, Angela shared quotes that suggested he was using her. Later, she posted cuddling videos with other men like Scott Wern to try and make Michael jealous. Recently, Angela shared an Instagram story that seemed to suggest that Michael was toxic. His message read, “It’s so nice when toxic people stop talking to you. It’s like the garbage has taken itself out.” Although Angela didn’t mention Michael by name, it was clear that the message was directed at him.


Angela has the right to use social media to defend herself against her critics. Ever since Michael left, trolls have taunted Angela on social media, accusing her of being a terrible wife and slandering her without evidence. It’s commendable to see Angela take a stand against such critics on Instagram. If he had continued to remain silent, critics would have continued to harass him even more. That’s why it’s great that 90 day fiance star took to social media to confront her haters head-on, shutting them down in the most brutal way possible, calling them idiots.


While Angela has every right to defend herself, her critics are not entirely to blame against her. Over the past six years, viewers have seen Angela abuse Michael numerous times, hurting and abusing him. From shoving cake in Michael’s face to wrecking his car, 90 day fiance fans have seen too many incidents that show him in a negative light.
