There have been iconic main pots all along Below decks history, and there are those that stand out as the worst. Below decks tells about the lives of superyacht crew members working on charter times. The main stew is one member of the full Below decks crew, but they probably have one of the most important roles in the entire crew. Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea star Hannah Ferrier had some great and not-so-great moments during her five years on the spin-off. Hanna was loved for her witty comments and interactions with others Deck Med crew. At times, however, Hannah was combative and got into unnecessary arguments with her crew. Her relationship with Captain Sandy Yawn was incredibly tumultuous. Hannah’s relationship with Captain Sandy ultimately influenced her appearance as the main cat..

Fraser has dealt with drama in each of his seasons, but Below decks season 11 has been even more controversial for the main cast. Working under captain Kerry Titheradge, Fraser’s success as chief steward is not the best because he takes things personally. Fraser had a major conflict with Barbie Pascualone of the many stews welcomed to St. David’s at the start of the year Below decks season 11

Fraser formed an early bond with Cat Baugh, and when she expressed that Barbie was too hard on her, this upset Fraser. He took Cat’s side completely, and even after she left St. David’s Below decks in season 11, he has been rude to Barbie. Fraser has allowed his personal feelings for Barbie to ruin their professional relationship. He’s gone the extra mile with his relationships with Xandi Olivier and Paris Field, leaving Barbie out of group activities. Fraser gives Barbie extra work when it’s not needed, painting her in a bitter light.


6 Kate Chastain

Below Deck season 2-7

Kate Chastain is the most visible Below decks actor to exit any franchise. He joined the series in its second season and stayed on for season 7, when he announced his departure. Kate was a strict head stew and didn’t take any nonsense from anyone on board. Some Below decks fans thought Kate was a bad main stew because of her strong personality. Kate knew what had to be done and sometimes he seemed too brash or dismissive. Kate didn’t hide her attitude Below decksand this was a positive and negative quality.


It’s no secret that Kate is probably the most iconic main character Below decks will ever see. Partly he was loved for his harsh ways, but it also made him unlikable. He was quick to assert his dominance and put down other crew members in the process. Kate always thought she knew what was best for the characters Below decksand this caused some of the viewers to have a mixed reaction to him.

5 Adrienne Gang

Under the deck season 1

Adrienne Gang was the first main pot Below decks season 1. It was Adrienne’s first time working as a head chef and she had to endure quite a lot. She navigated a lot of drama between Kat Held and Samantha Orne, who were both stews under him. Adrienne’s outspokenness seemed to turn Below decks season 1 crew and audience away from him. Although Adrienne treated her stew parts roughly, she was good at her job.


4 Heather Chase

Below Deck season 9

Heather Chase was one and done Below decks main stew, who appears in Season 9 of the main series. Heather was one of the youngest main stews and did her job well. He got along well with his second stew, Fraser, but clashed with his third stew, Jessica Albert, who ended up leaving the show midway through the season. Heather’s most controversial moment Below decks season 9 came after he used a racial slur while joking with deckhand Rayna Lindsey. Heather once again said a racial slur that was completely unfounded.

3 Natasha Webb

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7


Natasha Webb was the main stew Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 7. He came along Deck Med season 7 with an impressive resume, despite owning his yacht recruiting agency. During Deck Med in season 7, it was revealed that Natasha and Chef David White had joined a previous charter while Natasha was in another relationship. They went inside Below Deck Med, are trying to hide their current relationship, but quickly broke the news that they were seeing each other. Their “boating” drew attention away from Natasha’s work as the main pot.

2 Francesca Rubi

Below Deck season 8


Francesa Rubi had some tough shoes to fill, coming to the main stew Below decks season 8 after Kate left the series. Francesa had a lot to prove Below decks season 8. During the season, he got into an argument with flight attendant Elizabeth Frankin. Francesca was upset that Elizabeth and crew member James Hough decided to spend the night together in the guest room. Francesca found this incredibly disrespectful and separated Elizabeth by two more charters. This left viewers with a sour view of Francesca, and she was so quick to dismiss Elizabeth for a mixed fault.

1 Jenna MacGillivray

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1


Jenna MacGillivray was the first main pot Sailboat below deck season 1. Throughout the season, she clashed with her second and third stews, Madison Stalker and Georgie Grobler. All stews must be obtained included during charter times, so this naturally causes disturbances. Jenna reconciled with Georgia, but still couldn’t get along with Madison. In the end, more drama spilled over for Jenna when she ended up on a boat trip with Adam Glick. Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea. Jenna was tough on her crew but soft on Adam, giving viewers a mixed impression of her.

The Below decks the franchise has seen several mainstays since the main reality TV shows premiered in 2013. Some mainstays have lasted longer than others and for a variety of reasons. Whether they were strict with their crews, didn’t focus on their work, or simply didn’t like the fans, there are a few reasons why the main stew is Below decks can be called “the worst”.
