8 Chefs Who Could Replace Chef Johnathan Shillingford Under Deck Mediterranean Season 9

If Captain Sandy fires Chef Johnathan “Jono” Shillingford Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea in season 9, he could be replaced by the former Below decks franchise chef. Deck Med season 9 features a crew of new yachts, and previously the show only featured Captain Sandy, Aesha Scott and Elena Dubaich. Deck Med season 8 was a disappointment, but luckily for the franchise, season 9 has started better. It’s been an entertaining season, defined by the crew’s renewed energy, minimal bickering and early sailing.

As one of the new ones Deck Med crew members, Chef Jono started off strong during the first charter of the season. He worked well under pressure when Mustique was given little sustenance. In the second charter, chef Jono made mistakes. He was condemned for serving chicken and chocolate cake to the order guests. It is unclear whether he can improve his performance, but if he can’t, he will have to leave Mustique. Chef Jono shouldn’t be fired, but if he is, Captain Sandy could call several Below decks chefs from the past in his place.

8 Adam Glick

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 & Below Deck Mediterranean Seasons 2 & 3

Chef Adam Glick was restless at times during his many appearances Below decks concession. He became another chef on Deck Med and famously served a bunch of strangers onions when they didn’t want them in their food. Despite the mistake, Chef Adam continued to franchise and work Deck Med season 3 and Sailboat below deck season 1. It’s been a few years since he’s been on the show, and it would be surprising if he replaced Chef Jono, but not completely out of the blue.

7 Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran

Chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran acted as chef during the part Deck Med season 5. As the franchise’s first yacht, she had to prove her skills to the charter guests and Captain Sandy. Unfortunately, Chef Kiko was fired for lack of performance, but he was still a fan favorite. He formed a close friendship with Hannah Ferrier, an incredibly beloved character in the franchise. If Chef Jono fired, Captain Sandy could call chef Kiko for another chance to work for him.

6 Tzarina Mace-Ralph

Under the Deck Season 2 Underneath

Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph is one of the best new ones Below decks chefs in franchises. He made his debut during Below decks season 2 where he shined his skills and created a compelling reality show. Chef Tzarina was incredibly entertaining in her confessional interviews and made friends with most of the crew. He participated in two boat races that created dramatic moments during the season Below decks season 2 Chef Tzarina deserves to be repeated Below decks cookand he could prove himself by replacing chef Jono Deck Med season 9

Chef Tzarina has already worked with Aesha Below decks. If he would join the crew Deck Med in season 9, he would have a pre-existing relationship with the cast. It would be great television to see Chef Tzarina and Aesha working together again. They can become a Below decks duo if the chef continues to work on different series in the future, even if it doesn’t include him joining Deck Med season 9 later in the charter season.

5 Ben Robinson

Below Deck Seasons 1-3, Below Deck Mediterranean Seasons 1 and 4

Chef Ben Robinson is one of the best chefs around Below decks concession. He was the first chef to appear on the show in 2013 Below decks season 1. After that, his career exploded and he became one of the most reliable crew members in the franchise. Chef Ben started out with the basic set, but transitioned to it Deck Med for its first season. He was called several times to replace unqualified cooksso he is a viable alternative to cook Jono Deck Med season 9

4 Jack Luby

Below Deck Mediterranean season 8

If chef Jono were fired, chef Jack Luby would start Deck Med season 8 would be a natural option to ask back for season 9. He was the chef of the previous season and performed well during the season. Chef Jack ran into some problems as he had little experience working on a superyacht. Despite the challenges, he persevered and survived Deck Med season 8 on good terms with Captain Sandy. He wasn’t involved in much dramawhich suggests that he was naturally cast in the eye Deck Med season 9 and don’t cause conflict.

3 Ileisha Dell

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4

Chef Ilesiha Dell joined the franchise in 2023 Sailboat below deck season 4. Instead of forcing herself to be the center of attention, the Aussie native shied away from all the drama. Chef Ileisha was unaware of the love triangle between Daisy Kelliher, Colin MacRae and Gary King, showing just how far removed she was from the conflict. He was a smooth cook and performed well in Parsifal III. If Chef Jono is fired, it could be Chef Ilesiha’s chance to step up and prove himself as a long-term franchise captain.

2 Marcos Spaziani

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

Chef Marcos Spaziani impressed everyone during Sailboat below deck season 3. The chef mostly worked in restaurants before his franchise stint, although he still thrived in the superyacht environment. Crew Sailboat below deck season 3 got along exceptionally well, including Chef Marcos, who became close friends with Colin. Since his appearance on the show, he has returned to the restaurant business, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make a surprise return Deck Med season 9.

1 David White

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7

David “Dave” White was involved in messy boating back in the day Deck Med season 7, but he is still considered one of the best chefs on the show. Before she hired on the superyacht, she contacted Chief Stew Natasha Webb when she had a boyfriend. They tried to hide during their relationship Deck Med season 7, but she admitted they had been intimate in a confessional interview. Chef Dave didn’t treat Natasha the best when they worked on the show, but Captain Sandy still thinks he’s the best Deck Med cook.

In an interview with Showbiz spoof magazinethe captain said and said “personal (matters) aside“Chef Dave was”the best cook” he worked on the show. He also praised Chef Ben’s work on the show, but praised Chef Dave’s creative presentation of the dishes. If Captain Sandy had to choose who to replace Chef Jono with, it would probably be him Deck Med season 7 chef. It would be interesting to see how the fans would take him, given his tumultuous history on the show.

The Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea the team has options for a possible replacement for Chef Jono. It is unclear if the new one Below decks the yachtie is fired before the charter season is over. Chef Jono will be missed if he leaves Mustique, and another former chef from the franchise should be added in his place.
