Fans of The 1975 are already queuing outside The O2. They’ve organized an “official queue” via X, with The 1975 fan Zoe keeping others updated on the social media platform.
She posted on Friday morning (February 9) saying: “We’ve just arrived, not sure if there’s another queue at the moment so this is the official queue as it’s been tweeted”. Since then, fans have been kept updated through various threads.
Despite The 1975 not performing until Monday, Zoe said there were now nearly 60 people in the queue. According to various updates, they have been organizing and handing out numbers to keep the line organized, with overnight check-ins.
According to The O2, they do not allow fans to arrive before 9am on the day of the show. In response to a fan’s question, they said: “Overnight queuing is not permitted and anyone attempting this will be asked to leave the venue.”
Despite the policy, several The 1975 fans in line said they’ve enjoyed their experience so far. One wrote “I’ve never seen O2 be so accommodating to campers, they’ve made sure we’re protected all night, this is so nice.”
Another said “O2 queue update 1975! We’ve moved under cover in front of goods (O2 have confirmed we’re allowed to set up marquee here overnight) will add a picture of our marquee to this thread so everyone knows where they will come in the morning!”
The 1975 play The O2 on February 12, 12 and 14, then again on February 20. The shows are part of their Still… At Their Very Best tour, which began in North America in 2023.
