Joe Bradley was quite a character Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be back for season 10. He joined the series as a franchise first Below decks Yachtie from Liverpool, England. As soon as he became part of the crew, Joe became attached to his partner Nathan Gallagher and they formed a close friendship. However, Nathan wasn’t the only actor that Joe liked, as he quickly caught on involved in a love triangle with dames Bri Muller and Elena “Ellie” Dubaich.

His time Deck Med he was dominated by his boating and his hunting skills were less important to the story. He was seen as a leader, although captain Sandy Yawn reprimanded Iain Maclean for selecting him for this role. Despite not particularly liking either woman, they fought over her for most of Season 9. By the end of the subscription season, Bri and Ellie saved their boat trip with him. However, Joe felt a new spark when Carrie O’Neill joined the crew as a latecomer.

10 Joe didn’t get along with Gael

He started treating her differently because of her boating with Nathan

At the height of the charter season, the deck team was very close. Joe, Nathan and Gael Cameron became a trio and had an undeniable friendship with each other. Bosun’s Iain Maclean got on well with them but sometimes left them alone to do tasks. The trio was admittedly frustrated with Bosun’s performance, but luckily they had each other’s backs. However, when Nathan and Gael’s ship trip began, Joe seemed to behave differently towards Gael. He subconsciously resented his companion. He admitted that he thought he was being treated like ” princess .” Gael’s performance never wavered during her time in Season 9, and it really seemed like Joe was a little jealous of her connection with Nathan. Nevertheless, he undoubtedly treated her differently from the other men on deck and made a bad impression.

9 Captain Sandy wanted Nathan to be the leader

The captain said that Joe was less qualified to be a leader

When Captain Sandy found out that Iain named the main hand Joe, he was shocked and confused. He had no idea Bosun had promoted one of the deck team members, much less before their work had begun. After briefly looking at their experiences, Iain thought Joe was the right choice for leader, although Captain Sandy said Nathan was a better choice. On deck, Joe struggled at times. When his performance faltered, Captain Sandy tapped Nathan to step into his role and pick up the slack. With the captain liking the other deckhand so much, there’s not much indication that he’d choose to invite Joe to Nathan if given the choice.

8 Joe caused a lot of drama with his joints

He joined Bri and Ellie in succession

Whether he meant it or not, Joe’s many Mustique romances influenced the crew all season 9. Bri and Ellie were both interested in him and didn’t back down in their pursuits. Sure, the other stew admitted that she wanted to explore the boat with him first, but Bri decided to move on to Joe before Ellie got the chance. They both joined the leadership and neither showed loyalty to the other. Bri and Ellie’s feud affected the inner team, leaving Aesha Scott with little help throughout the season.

As the women fought each other over Joe, he continued their drama by not admitting who he wanted to be with.

He didn’t have to get down on one knee and propose to Bri or Ellie, but their drama could have been avoided if he had chosen one woman to date. Instead, Joe had his cake and ate it too. They only stopped chasing him when Ellie heard him sing a song about not wanting to be with either of them. Joe hasn’t admitted guilt in their season-long feud, and probably never will. In fact, when he was done with Bri and Ellie, he quickly moved on to Carrie, showing that he didn’t care about their feelings.

7 His performance on deck didn’t warrant all the drama

Under the hood, Med can do without His womanizing

Although Joe started conflicts with members of the inner team, his appearance on deck did not justify the drama he created. In the past Below decks there have been many disturbances among the crew during the seasons. Although some yachties are known to stir the pot, their expertise prevents them from being fired. Every now and then they return to the show. João Franco is a prime example of a crew member who misbehaved but still returned to the franchise thanks to his experience on deck. João had two tough seasons Deck Med but he was entrusted to lead as Bosun Below decks season 2, when Luke Jones was fired for sexual misconduct midway through the season. He had the skills to justify his return, even though Joe didn’t have a sailing career at that point.

6 Joe was there to have fun, not work

He enjoyed being on the TV show

The leading deckhand appeared to join the crew Deck Med season 9 not for extra sailing experience but once in a lifetime. It’s not every day that yachts don’t have the opportunity to perform Below decks franchise. Sometimes new Cast members get too excited about appearing on reality TV instead of doing their jobs as crew members. Joe wasn’t a terrible chief though he came to life in a rickety chair, as opposed to on deck. He developed a close friendship with Nathan and they used that to their advantage to create content for the show. However, Joe should have focused more on work instead of play. River:

Sometimes it’s good to have fun on board, but usually trying to really enjoy a challenging job isn’t the best strategy. Each position is ultimately intended to please the end user – the primary charter guest and whoever they bring with them. Getting tips and recognition means taking the customer into account, not yourself.

5 Joe did not admit that he mistreated women

He let Bri and Ellie fight by themselves

Joe isn’t entirely to blame for Bri and Ellie’s fight, although it’s undeniable that he contributed to their problems. He wiped his hands clean of both women as Carrie joined the crew, never looking back. Gael noticed her treatment of Brie and Elli and told her that it would be better to admit her feelings to both of them. Instead he ignored them and did not apologize for misleading and confusing them. Similarly, Joe didn’t think he was rude to Gael and wouldn’t be wrong to treat him differently when his boating with Nathan began.

The kind of arrogance that Joe displayed and his very low emotional intelligence make him a villain. His weaknesses are a problem. He is so stubborn that he doesn’t seem to understand how his actions make him look. Everyone notices his obnoxious behavior.

4 He dropped the ball a few times

Joe was not ready to be a leader

Aside from his personal flaws, Joe dropped the ball as a manager a few times. At the beginning of season 9 Nathan and the guest went paddling and drifted out to sea. They tried to wave to someone from the deck, but unfortunately a neighboring catamaran had to bring them back to Mustique. Iain’s job was to make sure someone from the deck team was looking at them. However, part of the responsibility also fell on Joe’s shoulders. It was a mistake on both sides, and he gracefully took the blame for what happened.

3 Iain and Joe were poor deck team leaders

Nathan was in a better position to be Iain’s right hand man

Iain and Joe weren’t the strongest leading duo. Bosun left the deck team to their own devices on several occasions, and luckily the trio were able to handle things themselves. When Iain couldn’t plan games for the guests on a beach day, Joe and Gael had to set about organizing a fun charter trip. They pulled it together, but Iain should have been a proactive leader and prepared his team for the event. It’s not entirely Joe’s fault that Bosun named him manager, but when he was given that title, he was responsibilities. He had to step into the role and act as a reliable figure for Nathan and Gael, which he wasn’t all along.

2 Joe brought entertainment but needs improvement on deck

His musical talents were fun to watch

Joe had many musical talents that helped the inner team in season 9. There were many times when he demonstrated his skills on the piano and entertained the guests. Joe also had the ability to sing and dance, which boosted his morale among the crew. He was also an entertaining yacht because he brought drama. However, if Joe were to return for the upcoming season Deck Medhe should improve his skills on deck. It would have been nice if Nathan was named as the manager. Joe and Gael both could have learned a lot from his leadership, but unfortunately the season didn’t go that way. With experience, he could be a great addition to the upcoming spin-off, but probably not in Season 10.

1 Below Deck Med Season 10 will do without him in the crew

He is not part of the rumored Season 10 Cast

The Deck Med the season 10 crew would be better off without joe. He created a massive conflict between the stews and didn’t care about breaking hearts. Instead of bringing Joe back to flirt with a new batch of boats, it would be best if he wasn’t invited back for next season. He is not particularly part of the rumours Deck Med season 10 cast, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t have been brought in as a latecomer. It seems that production and Captain Sandy agreed that Nathan was the right member of the Season 9 crew to bring back for Season 10. He is reportedly back for another show.

Joe probably won’t be back after season 9 Deck Med season 10. He was the crew leader, even though Nathan would probably have been a better choice for the job. Joe’s penchant for creating drama also suggests that he won’t be returning to the show anytime soon.

Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea airs Mondays at 9:00 PM EDT on Bravo.
