There are many Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea Alums that should return but don’t. For most of the show’s run Captain Sandy Yawn has served at the helm from the series. Deck Med season 9 is off to a great start with the help of new yachts. Aesha Scott returned to the spin-off after working as Captain Jason Chambers’ main stew Below decks seasons 1 and 2. Captain Sandy and Aesha in charge Deck Med in season 9, they have contributed to the show’s brilliance.

Season 8’s cast included many former crew members, which made the season feel dated at times. Natalya Scudder and Tumi Mhlongo’s quarrel was influenced by their mutual friend Kyle Viljoen. Season 9 features an almost entirely new cast with fresh drama and storylines. There has been a lot of boating Deck Med season 9 who keep the show entertaining. Captain Sandy shouldn’t fire anyone Deck Med season 9 but if he does there’s a lot of alum that could come back, but probably won’t.

10 Lexi Wilson

Below Deck Med season 6

Lexi Wilson had a controversial play Deck Med season 6. Three months before the season, his father died tragically. It may have been too early for Lex to show up Deck Med so fast in his grieving process, and he got mad drinking crew nights. He got into a physical incident with deckhand Mzi Dempers and disrespected many other crew members. Lex had a hard time in the seriesbut it could be given another chance, but probably not.


9 Christine “Bugsy” Drake

Below Deck Med Seasons 2 & 5

Christine “Bugsy” Drake was a reliable stew for Captain Sandy Deck Med season 2. He performed well during the first season of the franchise and rose during it Deck Med after season 5 He became Chief Stew when Hannah Ferrier was fired. Bugsy was shuffled into the lead role and did a great job despite the pressure. She was considered the queen of the theme for her decorative tablescapes and wrote her Book, The art of table design: set your table with the queen of the theme.

Below Deck Med Seasons 3 & 4


Colin Macy-O’Toole was a great addition to the deck team Deck Med seasons 3 and 4. Instead of participating in the drama, he focused on his work as one of Captain Sandy’s chiefs. Although she left the show after season 4, she has maintained a presence in the franchise Below deck discussion. He also discusses the show on his podcast, Radio Check with Colin Macy-O’Toole. Colin has moved on from his reality TV days and returned to his job as captain of the Long Island Ferry.

7 Malia White

Below Deck Med seasons 2, 5 and 6


Malia White was quite the journey in her time Deck Med. She made history during the show’s fifth season as the first woman to be a bosun Below decks. Unfortunately, this was overshadowed by his conflict with Chief Stew Hannah. Malia told Captain Sandy that Hannah had a vape pen and over the counter Valium and was immediately fired. Hanna is one of the most loved Below decks crew members and many fans blamed Malia for shooting him. He returned Deck Med season 6 and it would be weird to bring him back now.

6 Katie Flood

Below Deck Med season 6


Katie Flood was Captain Sandy’s main stew Deck Med season 6. He had a tough job following in Hannah’s footsteps. Deck Med seasons 1–5. Katie led the indoor team well but didn’t create many entertaining moments during the season. He returned to Bravo Zeitgeist for Winter house season 3, and the audience fell in love with him. On See what Happens Live with Andy CohenKatie said shenever say never“to return, but it’s been years since he first appeared and it’s unlikely to happen now.

5 Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran

Below Deck Med season 5

Chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran wasn’t the best chef, but he became a beloved franchise figure after that. Deck Med season 5. He had a lively personality and formed close friendships with most of the crew. Chef Kiko and head stew Hannah were like two peas in a pod, but that didn’t help her performance in the kitchen. Guests often criticized him, which led to his firing. Chef Kiko was not the best sailing chefand it would be surprising if he was asked to return after the rough experience he had in his time Deck Med season 5


4 Lara Du Preez

Below Deck Med season 8

Lara Du Preez shined in Deck Med season 8, but unfortunately he was involved from one of the series’ worst seasons yet. He formed a strong bond with his boss, Luka Brunton, and was ecstatic when he named him head boss. Lara was happy about her promotion and felt like herself.”dreams (were) literally coming true.She opened up about her experiences as a lesbian during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was brave. Despite her performance, Lara was not asked back Deck Med season 9, hinting that he may not return for future seasons.


3 Alex Radcliffe

Below Deck Med season 5

Alex Radcliffe worked hard and was promoted to manager during Deck Med season 5. Reporting to Malia, the manager impressed the crew with his dedication to his work. Outside of his professional life, Alex was on a boat trip with Bugsy, who started the season as second stew and finished as main stew. Unlike others Below decks personalities, he didn’t play the fool or try to make women into women upon his crew. Alex was kind and respectful, but he probably won’t be back Deck Med.

2 Ben Robinson

Below Deck Seasons 1-3, Below Deck Mediterranean Seasons 1 and 4


Chef Ben Robinson is loved Below decks a franchise chef whose career has overtaken the show. He was a pioneer Below decks and its first spin-off, Below Deck Med, as a cook. He set the bar high and was called on as a substitute a few times when things went wrong. Chef Ben has a huge ego, but not for the wrong reasons. Today, he pours his energy into his successful catering business and his future wife, Kiara Cabral. He will always have ties to the series, but there is no possibility of him returning to the show in the future.

1 Hannah Ferrier

Below Deck Med seasons 1-5


Hanna is one of the best Below decks Chief Stews appears in the franchise, but he does not return Deck Med. He managed the indoor team for five seasons, mainly working with captain Sandy. Hannah became a beloved member of the crew Below decks franchise that is adored by fans for his entertaining and endearing personality. He had a dramatic exit Deck Med season 5 when Malia told Captain Sandy that she had a pen and valium, which is not prescribed.

Even though she hasn’t been on the show for its past four seasons, Hannah is still missed. He has had a contentious relationship with his former captain for years. However, Captain Sandy says their argument is over and they have moved on from their conflict. Although they have agreed Hanna has moved on Deck Med. She became a mother and has continued to expand her career abroad Below decks concession. The series would benefit from Hannah’s return, but that’s not going to happen.


Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea has featured iconic alums who will sadly never return to the show. Fan favorites like Hannah and Ben have the series to thank for the catapult to their successful careers. Today, the series may introduce new personalities to the show, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be exciting to see some alums return to the show.
